Managing Director, Sukher Khamar Agro Limited
After 19 years of urban life and 13 years of corporate career, Jobayer Islam has returned to the village with a dream of building a sustainable agricultural community.
We want to grow not just crops from the soil, but the future
He is currently working to establish Bangladesh's first agriculture-based community called 'Sukher Khamar Agro Village'. Through this project, he is building a modern integrated agricultural farm and agro-resort. Simultaneously, Sukher Khamar Jame Mosque and Hafizia Orphanage Madrasa are also being constructed. His goal is to create a rural economic model where urban investment and rural labor together produce safe food, employment, and a sustainable cycle of social welfare.
Sukher Khamar Agro Village is Bangladesh's first community-based agro-tourism and integrated agricultural farm project, spanning 30 bighas of land in Kahaloo Upazila, Bogura.
This project involves the construction of a modern integrated agricultural farm, an agro-resort, a mosque, a Hafizia orphanage madrasa, and a foundation.
As a partner in this project, you will receive – lifelong safe food produced from your own farm, opportunities for vacation with family at the agro-resort, Shariah-compliant halal income, and the chance to contribute to sustainable social development.
A partnership-based agricultural community will be built, where agriculture, agro-tourism, and social welfare will complement each other.
Investors, farmers, and tourists will all be connected on a common platform in this community.
From agricultural production to eco-friendly living, local economic development, and social welfare – all combined, this will be a new kind of sustainable development model.
To produce food using nature-dependent and sustainable methods that are completely safe for human health and the environment.
To connect urban people with the beauty of rural life and real agricultural experiences, fostering mutual understanding and empathy.
To build an agricultural society centered on human values and social responsibility, where development and human welfare will progress side by side.
A sustainable model farm where agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries, production, and tourism are managed together, balancing production, environment, and social welfare.
Rest, recreation, and agricultural experience amidst nature – where modern tourism and rural life can be enjoyed together.
A humanitarian initiative built on the integration of religion, education, and human welfare, where spiritual practice and educational opportunities for orphaned children are ensured together.
A non-profit initiative established with the aim of human welfare, education, agricultural development, and social change, working towards sustainable development and building a moral society.
A modern integrated agricultural farm is being built on 30 bighas of land – where livestock, fish, and crops will be produced under an integrated management system.
Cattle, goat, duck-chicken, sheep, and Dumba (fat-tailed sheep) farms.
Fish ponds and modern fish farming using the bottom-clean method.
Poison-free vegetable and fruit production in Polynet houses (modern pesticide-free greenhouses).
Partners can buy fresh and safe products produced at Sukher Khamar all year round from home at an affordable price.
The goal is to contribute to the country's economy by exporting produced goods to the international market.
Marketing of cattle, goats, ducks, chickens, Dumba, sheep, and various other products produced on the farm will be one of the main sources of income for this project.

An international standard Agro Resort is being built on a 30 bigha plot, which will add a new chapter to Bangladesh's tourism by combining nature, agriculture, and entertainment. Visitors here will have the opportunity to enjoy rural life, agricultural experience, and the comfort of a modern resort all at once.
Note: The size of the domestic tourism market in Bangladesh is over 30,000 crore Taka (Tourism Board, 2024). Agro-tourism has an annual growth of 15%, which will make this project even more profitable.
Eco cottages built in a natural environment
Swimming pool, gaming zone, and playground
Farm-to-table restaurant and conference hall
Partners can enjoy free family vacations at the resort every year and receive a share of the Agro-Resort's income as profit at the end of the year, proportionate to their share.
The Agro Resort will be the project's second main source of income. Alongside income from agricultural production, it will create a regular and stable financial flow. The arrival of domestic and international tourists, resort rentals, restaurant, event, and conference arrangements – all these combined will make the project's financial foundation stronger and more sustainable.
Public welfare institutions are being built on a part of 30 bighas, which is a symbol of Sukher Khamar's social responsibility.
Sukher Khamar Mosque will be a modern and beautiful Jame Masjid, open and orderly for everyone. It will not only be a place of prayer but also a symbol of unity and brotherhood as a spiritual and social center for the community. Here, generations will be guided on the right path through religious education and moral values.
Sukher Khamar Hafizia Orphanage Madrasa will be a safe and educational shelter for orphaned children. Here, they will be provided with quality religious and moral education, along with opportunities for primary modern education. This is not just a madrasa, but a foundation for a bright future for children.
Sukher Khamar Foundation will be a commitment to social development. Through it, activities will be conducted in health, education, and agriculture sectors, bringing positive change to the lives of people in the community. This foundation will become a real example of welfare and responsibility in society.
Approximately 10 tons of daily waste will be used for compost, biogas, and other purposes instead of being wasted.
Biogas produced from daily farm waste will be used for cooking and electricity generation, reducing fuel costs.
Vermicompost and trichocompost made from cow dung will increase soil fertility and provide quality organic fertilizer for local farmers.
Solar panels installed on the farm will meet electricity demand, reduce costs, and ensure environmentally friendly energy.
Rainwater will be collected to meet the farm's water demand, especially serving as an alternative source during drought.
Sukher Bazaar is providing safe, pure, and healthy products, with the assurance of delivery directly from the field to your home.

Bogura's soil is one of the most fertile in Bangladesh. 3-4 crop seasons per year are possible, and 20-25% more yield can be obtained.
Bogura is the top dairy-producing district in the country. An average of 1.5 million liters of milk is produced daily. There is huge potential in crop and processed dairy industries.
Only 4 hours away from Dhaka. Connected by North Bengal Highway, railway, and airport, ensuring fast, low-cost, and high-profit product transportation.
Bogura has 6 universities and 10+ technical institutes, ensuring skilled agricultural manpower and research support. Health, electricity, and internet facilities are already advanced.
Bogura is now a government priority development area, offering tax rebates and incentives for agro-processing and agro-industries.
Historical and cultural sites like Mahasthangarh, Behular Basar Ghar, Shah Sultan (R.)'s Mazar, Vasu Bihar, Shiladevi Ghat, and Yogir Bhaban Temple make Bogura an ideal destination for agro-tourism.
This region is highly promising for animal husbandry and agriculture. Improved breed animals are readily available, and advanced communication systems (airport, railway, highway) facilitate product transportation. The fertile soil allows for three crops annually, making any crop cultivable. Universities, hospitals, and city corporations support the region's development, and historical sites like Mahasthangarh and Vasu Bihar create new opportunities for tourism and education.
